In the tea and coffee packaging industry, a container order is more than just a transaction; it is a significant investment in your brand’s reputation. At Tonchant® (SOKOOGROUP), we understand that “seeing is believing.” To ensure that every roll of film and every pouch meets your exact specifications, we have established a comprehensive Sample Policy designed to provide peace of mind before you commit to large-scale production.
Why Sampling is Crucial for Tea & Coffee Brands?
Packaging for tea and coffee requires more than just aesthetics. It demands specific functional properties:
Aroma Retention: Does the barrier layer effectively lock in the scent?
Valve Performance: For coffee beans, does the one-way degassing valve function under pressure?
Machine Compatibility: Does the film roll run smoothly on your specific VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) equipment?
Material Texture: Does the matte, glossy, or soft-touch finish align with your brand identity?
Our Three-Tier Sample System
To cater to different stages of your procurement process, we offer three types of sampling services:
1. Ready-Made Stock Samples (Free of Charge)
If you need to verify our material quality, thickness, and craftsmanship, we provide existing samples from our warehouse for free. You only need to cover the courier cost. These samples allow you to test the physical strength and barrier properties immediately.
2. Digital Mock-ups & Unprinted Prototypes
For brands in the design phase, we can provide unprinted samples in your custom dimensions. This helps you verify the size and volume—ensuring your coffee beans or tea leaves fit perfectly within the pouch.
3. Custom Pre-Production Samples (PPS)
Before we kick off a full container order, we can produce a small batch of custom-printed samples using your artwork. This is the ultimate “safety net” to verify color accuracy, print resolution, and overall brand consistency.
From Prototype to Container: Our Quality Guarantee
Once a sample is approved, it becomes the “Golden Sample.” Our production team uses this approved specimen as the definitive benchmark for your entire container order.
Color Matching: We use Pantone matching and digital densitometers to ensure the bulk production matches the sample.
Structural Consistency: The lamination strength and seal integrity tested in the sample phase are strictly replicated in the mass production phase.
Our Commitment to Your Success
As your dedicated partner, SOKOOGROUP believes that a successful container order starts with a perfect sample. We invite all tea and coffee importers to take advantage of our sampling policy to mitigate risks and ensure that when that container door opens at your warehouse, the quality is exactly what you expected.
